Game summary
by David Weiss - FIU Club Baseball - This game was a wild one on a windy night. It turned out to be a battle of two aces. Royals starting pitcher struck out 12 Panthers over only 5 innings of work. That's ridiculous!!!! FIU's ace, Alex Pousa, kept the game close. He threw for 6 strong innings allowing only 1 earned run. Following Pousa, David Villa made his first appearance for FIU and pitched the final 3 innings also allowing only 1 earned run. FIU's bats finally woke up when Shortstop Jason Vila broke up the no hit bid in the 5th with a single, followed by another single by Orlando Aponte. It was a sigh of relief when the Royals replaced their starter in the 6th inning. In the 8th, FIU finally got on the board thanks to contribution from outfielders and 2nd/3rd batters Armani Medina and David Weiss. Armani reached base on his final 3 plate appearances with a HBP, walk, and clutch single in the 9th. This allowed David to drive in 2 runs, going 2-2 in his final three plate appearances, while struggling early 0-2 with a strikeout. FIU had a chance to win the game in the final inning with bases loaded and two outs but fell short. Player of the game: Alex Pousa 6 IP (1 ER, 4 H, 4 K). Notable Mention: David Weiss 2-4 (2 RBIs)

In one of those weird baseball games Sox found some of their luck to steal a win from the mighty Boer. Boer jumps to an early 1-0 lead of Chris Contreras. Sox answer right back to take the lead 3-1. Boer who out hit the sox the whole game strings some timely hits and walks to jump to a 5-3 lead. The game seem over but boer pitching let them down in the 7th as the sox clawed back to take a 7-5 lead. Shortstop Jarvys Duran came in to get the 2 inning save and complete the upset !!

Game summary
by Erik Rivera - Coral Gables Reds - The Coral Gables Reds fought hard but were unable to come up with a victory against the Nationals. The Nationals and Reds both had solid pitching but the errors took a toll on the Reds and paid the price for being short handed. The Reds are anxious for the remainder of the season after the holidays and will finally be at full strength.

Game summary
by Miguel Garcia - Coral Gables A's - The A's used 4 pitchers on Sunday to shut out an FIU team which went into the game without a loss.  The A's took an early 1-0 lead before adding runs in the 5th and 6th and eventually putting a 7 spot in the 8th to knock out the young FIU squad.  Alex Arteaga, Mason McVay, Willy Mizrahi and Jaime Cruz combined for the 9 hit shutout while striking out 12 hitters.  Combining this pitching with flawless defense, the A's were able to improve to 2-0 on the young season.  The A's were excited to see Cruz back on the mound as the long time A's ace comes back to the Sunday squad after moving back to Miami from Puerto Rico.  Arteaga and McVay were very impressive on the mound as the duo combined for 10 Ks. Offensively, the A's were led by Jose Martinez and Albert Jardines as each player had 2 RBI.  Juan Quesada had 2 hits as well with a run scored and stolen base while Mizrahi, Cruz, Arteaga and David Espinosa all added hits to the game.  The A's got their offense started early this week with a leadoff double from Yasmany Thorndike who scored the A's first run.  It was a great win for the A's who will now get a week off for Christmas before resuming play in 2016 as the A's ramp for their annual trip to Disney!
by David Weiss - FIU Club Baseball - Jason Vila pitched a great game allowing only 2 earned runs through 5 2/3. Ariel Medina also pitched well in 2 innings of work. However, the stats will not show how well they performed. The defense made 6 errors.Offensively we ran ourselves out of innings. Juan Corrales added to his hits total going 2-4, but was caught stealing twice. The panthers ended up with 3 runners caught on the base path. Along with several other balls that should have been caught, there were a total of 10 or 11 mental errors. We played shorthanded again but that is no excuse. Looking forward to put this game behind us.

Diamondbacks pitcher Hans Waltemath earned player of the week honors with his commanding pitching performance - 9 IP complete game, 1 ER, 8 H, 14 K's, 2 BB. Marlins Ryan Garcia had 3 hits.

Game summary
by Justin Petrie - Dadeland Indians - In the Indians third game of the season, they suffered another loss. After battling spurts of heavy rain throughout much of the night, the Indians and Sea Dogs were knotted at 0 through 3 innings. In the 4th, the wheels fell off defensively for the Indians. With one out and the bases loaded, starting pitcher Scott Lyon got the double play ball he needed. Instead, the indians didn't record an out. A few errors, 6 unearned runs, and what felt like 8 possible outs later, the inning was over. That 4th inning was all that was needed for the Sea Dogs to defeat the Indians, as the Sea Dogs lefty starter spread out the few Indians hits over several innings.

Game summary
by bryan Garcia - Cutler Bay Rockies - Great pitching to start the game on both sides with Rockies pitcher Ryan Desilets keeping the team in the game through 5 innings with just allowing 2 earned runs and striking out 8 batters. The game was cut short to just 6 full innnings of play due to weather. In the 6th inning Rockies relief pitching could not handle the weather issues and showed poor effort to throw strikes. Las Aguilas made a couple key defesnsive plays to keep their lead. Good game all around.
