Game Summary
The Marlins were in complete control of this game for 8 innings. Marlins starter Ahmed Noda had The Reds off balanced and confused for 7 innings. Noda would record 11 K's in 7 innings and surrendered only 1 unearned run. Reds pitcher Sammy Candenoza also pitched very well for 6 innings, giving up 4 runs - 2 RBI double by Marlins Ryan Garcia and 2 RBI double by Marlins Eric Estevez. With the score 4-1 in the 9th inning, The Reds mounted a furious comeback that eventually would lead to Reds catcher Ray Ortega hitting a 3 run HR to put the Reds ahead 6-4! Reds reliever Iden Nazario was outstanding, striking out 9 of the 10 batters he faced!! Reds Daniel Oliveri continued to make his case for league MVP going 2-3, 2 RBI, HB. This was the 2nd time this season The Reds came back from 3 runs behind in the 9th inning vs The Marlins to win!! Reds record is now 4-4, Marlins are now 4-3.

Game Summary
The Diamondbacks raced out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning on RBI doubles by Juan Rivera and Amed Martinez. The Diamondbacks added 2 runs in the 2nd inning, highlighted by Mario Figueredo's RBI single for a 6-0 lead after 2 innings. Dodgers Byron Soler had an RBI hit in the 3rd inning, scoring Eric Cos, to make the score 6-1. Diamondbacks Joe Torre and Mario Gonzalez each had hits and scored in the 4th inning for an 8-1 lead. The Dodgers added 2 runs in the 5th inning, with Soler and Cos doing the damage again; however, Diamondbacks pitcher Hans Waltemath had the game in hand with the score 8-3 after 6 innings. Dodgers pitcher Toto Collazo was roughed up early by The Diamondbacks, but remained strong and pitched very well for the final 5 innings, holding the Diamondbacks scoreless and pitching a complete game. Hans Waltemath came out after the 6th inning in favor of the usually reliable Mario Figueredo, but The Dodgers capitalized on the pitching change, scoring 3 runs in the 7th and 1 run in the 8th to tighten the game at 8-7. Hans Waltemath returned to the mound in the 8th inning and completed the game, holding The Dodgers scoreless in the 9th. Waltemath earned the win AND the save (a rareity!). The Dodgers had the winning run on 1st base when Waltemath induced Eric Cos to pop up to shortstop to end the game. The Diamondbacks now have sole possesion of 1st place with a 6-2 record in the American Division, while The Dodgers are now in 3rd place in The National Division at 5-2.

Game Summary
The Twins get a much needed victory for Cy Young candidate Tony DiMaio. The Twins are now 3-5, while Las aguilas suffered their 2nd straight loss and are now 3-4.

Game Summary
The Orioles jumped out to a 6-0 lead behind the pitching and offense of newcomer Jose Reyes. Reyes would hit for the cycle!! However, it was not nearly enough as Team Venezuela got the bats going late and put up 13 unanswered runs for an impressive 13-6 victory. this is the 2nd week in a row that Team Venezuela came back from a large deficit to win. Team Venezuela is now 6-1 and only 1/2 game behind last season's champions Coral Gables A's. Team Venezuela is a team to watch out for!! The Orioles' record drops to 2-5 and now find themselves in a must win position to make the playoffs.

Game Summary
The Rockies played their best game of the season and supported their star pitcher Ryan Desilets to a well earned victory. Desilets also had the game winning RBI in this tight contest. The bats are now 4-3 and The Rockies are now 3-6 and still have hopes of qualifying for post season play.

Game Summary
The Royals have had an up and down season. Tim Karketselos returned for The Royals and reestablished himself as one of the top pitchers in the league - 7 IP, 0 ER, 13 K's, 2 H, 1 BB. Although The Royals record is now 3-4-1, they will be a tough team to beat if the are able to qualify for the playoffs. The Indians fall to 1-7 and are in danger of missing the playoffs.

Game Summary
This game was well anticipated by many fans, but the Nationals were without several key players, including parenial Cy Young candidate Eric Berkowitz. Boer dominated this game from start to finish, improving their record to 3-4. Boer has also played several games without some key players this season. Boer will be another very difficult team to beat down the stretch, with solid pitching, hitting and defense. The Nationals fall to 5-3 and have lost 2 games straight.

Game Summary
Rough day for The Sox, missing 6 regular players, including star pitcher Steven Rozenman. The A's continue their winning ways, improving to 7-1 and remain in 1st place. The A's are returning champions and are poised for another playoff run, featuring excellent pitching and defense. The Sox record is now 4-4
