Game summary
By Giants Onih Acosta - The Giants still looking for first AUBL Miami win . The Giants faced a very tough team in the West Kendall Nationals. The starter for the Giants, Danger Guevara, pitched 6 complete innings and only gave up 3 hits, allowed 1 run, struck out an impressive 10 batters, and did not give up any free passes. The closer, Ricardo Rodriguez, also did a great job on the mound. He pitched 3 innings, struck out 4 batters, gave up 2 walks, 4 hits, and allowed 1 run. Our pitching was very solid. The 2 pitchers for the Nationals also put up a very good performance. They managed to hold our lineup to only 4 hits, 2 runs, they gave up 3 walks, and combined for 11 strike outs. This game was a pitchers duel. Great pitching from both sides. The Nationals were able to put up a run in the top of the 7th inning to put them ahead by one run and that would be enough to give them the win. Overall, it was a great game. We did not come out with the victory, but we looked good as a team at the plate against 2 very good pitchers, we played solid defense, and out pitching was stellar.
