Game summary
This is the 1st season of play for The Florida Bombers in AUBL Miami, but they are NOT an expansion team. Manager Gabriel Gonzalez is an experienced Manager and is working with a talented squad. This team has players from The Orlando Bombers, former tournament champs. The Bombers started this game quickly and led 6-0 in the 3rd inning. The young, scrappy Las Aguilas team came roaring back to tie the game 6-6 in the 5th inning behind pitcher Roger Villalonga. Bombers Willie Donner's 2 RBI hit gave the lead back to The Bombers (watch the 2 RBI hit here - https://youtu.be/spNJxlnDdAY?list=PL5EQreMtppp8QxwgvCblgWMdZ4hBy5Pki). Both teams fought to gain momentum, with the Bombers leading 15-10 going into the bottom of the 9th inning. Las Aguilas posted a furious rally and brought the tying run to the plate, but The Bombers held off the attack to escape with a 15-12 hard fought victory.
